Your Campervan Checklist

You probably know that at Breakfree Campers we’ve gone out of way to make sure everything you need is included in your hire. Of course your campervan includes all the essentials like fridge, microwave, stove, radio/CD player, and air-con.

Then there’s our travel pack, with linen, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment. We supply maps and camp ground guides – even coat hangers!

Basically, all you need to bring is your clothes and toiletries. But our years of experience have taught us that there are some common items that slip people’s minds and that they really wish they’d thought to pack.

So Here’s a Checklist of Common Items You Won’t Want to Forget

  • Sun protection: make sure you’ve got a hat with good coverage, and bring sunscreen.
  • Insect repellent.
  • Camera and other electronics: phone, iPad, etc., along with leads and chargers. (We supply a 12V socket for USB adapters.) Don’t forget spare memory cards.
  • Torch and batteries.
  • Books, board games, playing cards – the sort of things you’ll want to pass the time while waiting out bad weather.
  • Bushwalking gear, especially a decent pair of walking shoes. And make sure you’ve got a water bottle to keep hydrated.
  • Reusable shopping bags.
  • Earplugs and eye masks for sleeping. Hopefully not necessary, but handy if you find yourself in a noisy environment.
